How often should a piano be tuned?
A piano should be tuned once or twice a year to keep it up to pitch and sounding its best.
How can you tell if a piano is out of tune? Learn more HERE.
How much does it cost?
Pricing for a tune depends on the travel required and the condition of the piano. If a piano has been moved, exposed to temperature fluctuations, or has not been tuned in a while, it will need a pitch raise before it can be tuned.
How can I get my piano tuned?
Contact us today to get your piano service scheduled. In addition to being a piano tuner, Coulter works as an elementary music teacher, so his availability to work on pianos is limited to evenings and weekends during the school year. He is the most available, especially for pianos that require travel, during June or July.
About Bluebird Piano Services
Coulter and his wife Rykki started Bluebird Piano Services in 2018. Coulter tunes the pianos, and Rykki does the bookkeeping, marketing, and the website. They started in the Big Piney / La Barge area, and have since relocated to Fremont county. Coulter services pianos in central Wyoming and other areas when he can tune several pianos in one trip. We try to make it to Pinedale twice a year. Coulter does offer a discount if you refer him to other potential clients, making a piano tuning trip to your area more worthwhile.
We recommend Hoffman Academy
